Duties and Responsibilities: A person who is specially trained and certified to administer basic emergency services to victims of trauma or acute illness before and during transportation to a hospital or other health care facility.

Salary: $31,020 per year

Education: Emergency medical technician is the certifying agency for EMTs and paramedics. Once you complete EMT certification training, you’ll be required to pass written and practical exams.

Demand or need for this profession: Employment of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics is projected to grow 24 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations.

Being a emergency medical technician is a very important job to do, and i think i will like to be one because i care about the people who get hurt, i would like to help them and the salary is very good and i think it will be cool to become a medical technician
