Class Evaluation

The things that i liked about this class was making our own blogs. I think that was really fun to do because we got to have our own theme, we got to design our very own look for it and i feel like that kinda shows what  you personality is.

There is a time where i don’t like the student success statement, its okay but i really don’t like it because i’m really not that good of writing reflections, i’m the type who likes to speak about a statement, i’m not good with explaining on typing because i feel like it will kinda get you a little confused.

My recommendations to improve this class is to try you best on typing a reflection, it will kinda get confusing but you must remember to pay close attention to the message.

To be honest i do feel like i did my best in this class because again i’m not good with reflections but i try my best and  get my work fully done in order to pass this class.

To be honest i haven’t been reading my life planning goals journal because i’ve been focusing more on my other work, like if its like a huge assignment i have to get that done, but i’ve been busy with doing all my work for my other classes.

I think i am committed to be a CTR person because i do give respect to a lot of people and i accept a lot of people for who they are, and mostly i do help others when they really need the help.

This quote is trying to say that telling a lie isn’t gonna stay in one place, it will multiply everywhere. Lying is the biggest decision, lying makes the problem bigger and bigger, once you lie you lose trust, lying will not solve any problems, lying can really damage your future. If you keep lying, its gonna make you feel terrible or maybe regretful, lying is not the best to do and being honest is better, think twice about what you’re gonna do, think carefully

The Sting of the scorpion

A young boy name patrick was on a camping trip with his parents at the desert, before that his parents will tell him to put his shoes on at all times, he knew the reason why it’s important to wear shoes at all time, so he decided to go on a little walk around the desert. He decided to put his sandals on instead of his regular shoes, he thought “what’s the worst that can happen?, it’s the desert”. While he was walking he felt a little pinch and thought it might’ve been a stick or glass, but as he looked down he saw a scorpion, the pain was all over his leg and screamed for help so his parents could hear, as they reach to the nearest hospital, the doctor have gaven him a shot to heal down the pain, after that patrick said to himself “i’m gonna wear shoes at all cost now”. He’s gonna start making the right decision.

“Always do right.” - Mark Twain

The meaning of this quote is that if we want a perfect life and reach our goals we always have to do the right, doing the right can make you successful and doing the right is the right thing to do. We want the goodness in the world right? And by doing that is to just make the right decision that you’ll never regret doing, i feel like mark twain is trying to send a big message to teens, i feel like he’s giving them education and to have strength, so always do right,doing right will make you feel right.

World War II

What countries fought against whom in WWII?

World war 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the axis powers, including germany, italy and japan. On the other side were the allies. They included britain, france, australia, canada, new zealand, india, the soviet union, china and the united states of america.

Where did WWII occur?

Events of world war 2 took place across the globe. Most of the combat action took place in Europe, East Asia, and islands in the pacific ocean, but others were seen in places as far away as madagascar and the aleutian islands. Countries such as poland, china, russia, and germany saw their territories directly involved in war and suffered terribly, countries such as the united states and canada were relatively far from the action.

On september 1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland from the west, two days later, France and britain declared war on germany, beginning World War II. On september 17, soviet troops invaded Poland from the east.

How can we honor and show respect for WWII veterans?

We keep in memory of our veterans who when through a big battle to protect and fight for our countries, we must give respect to the veterans and the veterans family, because these veterans risked their lives.

I think what this quote is trying to say is that it’s a challenge you can complete, there is no way you can fail at doing the right thing, when you do the right thing, you accomplish it, Can people trust me to do whats right? Yes, people would have trust in you when you show some kindness and doing what the right thing to do. Am i committed to doing my very best? Yes, to be successful you always have to do your best to reach your goals and what good you want. Do i treat people the way i wanted to be treated? Yes, when you’re respectful and fair to one another you would want the to treat you like how they way you treated them, you want to show a good image and show them the respect you have. The answer is YES to all of these questions, there’s never failing on doing these 3 good things.

Challenges Teens Face today

What are several of the major challenges teens deal with today?

What are one or two major challenges YOU are dealing with today? What are you doing about them?

The two major challenges that i’m dealing with today is stress and depression. I’ve been stressed out about school and especially my grades, even finals that are coming up, like i overthink way too much about it and depression, well it’s not like a really bad one but my insecurities get in the way a lot so it kinda makes me depressed, DON’T WORRY!! I’m okay!!!. I mostly try to relax and not let anything negative get in the way, i mostly distract myself by making edits or hang out with my family or go on netflix or youtube.

How does being a CTR person help you to overcome any challenge you may face?

Doing things right makes you feel like better person, it puts a huge smile on your face and a lot of positive thinking will com, and especially it kinda makes your day :)

How can you help other teens to overcome their challenges?

When my friends are struggling in a situation, i always tell them “you can call me or text me, even 1 or 2 in the morning”, the best thing to do is the be there for them, you can give them advice on the problems they or have them talk to their parents and some to trust to talk about it.

What i think this quote is trying to say is that, having intelligence in us makes us stronger, intelligence is the skill we have, yes physical fitness does show a healthy body, but can words show part of the healthy body?, yes it can by saying the good things or doing the good things shows what kind of body we are a healthy body or an unhealthy body, What kennedy is trying to say is that intelligence has a skill, meaning that we have the creativity, showing goodness, what will you have? If we want a strong body then show some of your intelligence skills. Fill your body with it!!

Health Sciences

Librarian

Duties and responsibilities: health sciences librarians help health providers, patients, and students sort through the vast amount of information available, Health science librarians work in a variety of places such as the library of a health organization.

Salary: $84,000 per year

Education: Will need a bachelor’s of science degree in library science or health science. Many medical librarians have a master’s degree in library science.

Demand or need for this profession: Employment of librarians  is projected to grow 2 percent from 2014 to 20204, slower than the average for all occupations.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why Not?

Health sciences librarians sounds like a really great job and the salary is good, but i think it won’t fit for me because i’m not that much of a reader to be honest but i think the job is cool.

This quote means that being kind to one another shows greatness, being kind is the most good thing to do. Kindness shows the good and passionate you have inside, it shows others of what kind of person you are. Shows a really good image. You’re giving everyone respect and you would want someone to give you respect too. For example, what happened to me at the gas station, the man was kind enough to pay for the gas, a full tank, he spent $60 on us, but why?, what he do was very kind and i know that in his heart he felt good, he felt like he made someones day. When you give kindness you feel great, you feel awesome, you feel happy that you made that person smile. When they smile you smile.

Thanksgiving Week

My thanksgiving week was alright, i didn’t get to do much, i mostly stayed at home watched some TV and making some edits on my laptop/ipod, the most part that i liked was that i got to spend more time with my family more, since we’re all so busy with school and work, it was nice to spend time together, on thanksgiving i went over to my uncles house it was okay, we mostly focused on the soccer game. During my break i had to do my english homework and extra credit, my extra credit was fun to do, write a letter to president obama, i enjoyed it. I had some time to text my friends (international friends) and last but not least, the food, that was mostly the good part on thanksgiving week. But what i loved the most was when my family and i we were at the gas station to put gas for our family reunion camping trip, some stranger had went up to us and told my dad that he will pay for our gas, we were in shocked, he paid for a full tank, we were blessed, we wanted to buy him something too but he said he was okay so we gave him some mexican candy that our neighbor gave us :)

What this quote is trying to tell us is that we all should make the right decision and not to make any mistakes, if it is not right, do not do it, meaning if its the wrong thing to do, stay away from it thinks twice and don’t choose the wrong path, once you made that decision you’ll regret it. So i say stay away from the bad things and stay on the good side. If it is not true, do not say it, there is a lot of lies out there, people will believe and may not believe. Saying something that is not true can effect on everyone, you can lose trust, don’t say something that is not true because thats the baddest thing you can do and why join something that you don’t even know about and have the full information of it. Again stay away from the bad side and keep yourself to the good side, staying on the good side will be the best decision.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in canada and the united states. It was originally celebrated as the day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. In the united states, the modern thanksgiving holiday tradition is commonly. And it was dated on November 24. It has been celebrated as a federal holiday every year since 1863.

Reflection:  What i’m thankful for, i’m thankful for waking up everyday to see my beautiful family, thankful for having my family and friends who’ve supported me a lot when i had my bad times, i’m thankful for everything that i have honestly God has been amazing to my family and helped me through a lot and i’m glad to be here :)

What this quote means is that winning or losing is not gonna do something better in your life, being fair and honorable and doing right is the only thing that is important, you see when being fair and being honorable, shows what kind of person you are and showing it is way better than showing a winner or a loser. Doing whats right is more important, to me i see it as reaching your goals doing right will lead you to success :)

This quote means that the best policy is honesty, how is honesty the best policy? Well honesty is the right thing to do, be honest about everything, lying is not the best thing you can do, you’re just gonna feel more awful and you’ll constantly think about all the time, thats why honesty is the best thing to do, being honest is the best way to show who you are, it shows the good that you have in you, its kind of like earning someones trust. For example be honest that you didn’t finish your homework because you didn’t understand the problem, don’t let it slide, be honest to others.

Veterans Day

What is veterans day? Veterans day is the day of a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of world war I (November 11) to honor US veterans and victims  of all wars. The purpose of veterans day is that the veterans are thanked for their services to the united states. Its important to continue honoring veterans because it is a way of acknowledging the sacrifices they have made while serving this country. Ways how we honor veterans day

Veterans day is where we give all our thanks to these members. They have the courage and a heart to sacrifice their lives to protect all. They worked so hard and never gave up on what the like to do. My thoughts about veterans day, i thank all veterans who are strong and caring people that have no fear to do their jobs. Being a service member is a huge decision and its really big, so i thank all veterans who aren’t afraid and have the so much courage. :)

The meaning of these 3 keys, is the meaning to success, the are the only 3 keys that can get you to success. Key 1 have the courage to say no,meaning speak up for yourself if someone asked you to do something that you don’t think its a very good idea to do, say no, have courage. Key 2 have the courage to face the truth, you have to face the truth, that’s the right thing to do, and no consequences. Key 3 do the right thing because it is right, always do the right thing all the time, that can actually get you to success, reach your goal, doing the right thing will make you feel like a better person, you look like a better person, doing wrong can lead you to bad things and doing right can lead you to good thing.

I think this means that the good is the wise and the bad is the fools, we’re like the mountain, going up is good and once you went down the hill it’s bad, you see the more wise that we have the better the good, i mean i would like to be wise and don’t want to be a fool, who wants to be a fool?

The ones who are fools are destroyed,  to me this part means that the foolish people who decided to do wrong are destroyed meaning they’ve messed up or gave up their goals, it’s better to be wise, when i see the word wise it feels like the meaning is power, the good in you, to me wise sounds like a very powerful word, we all want to be wise, we don’t want to be the fools. We all want to reach our goals and success. If you follow the wise, you will be wise, if you follow the fool, you will be fooled.

The Gainesville Tornadoes

The video was about how this basketball team named Tornadoes in Gainesville, students had their own thoughts about the basketball game and said that it wasn’t fun, it’ll be fun if we heard cheers and have people there, when there was a basketball game there was barely anyone there so what they thought was to get some people to cheer for the tornadoes, when they came out to play they had no idea what was going on, they said that they would keep that in memory and that it was best cheer they ever had.

This quote means that recreation is a do over and when you want to redo you do it good this time, recreation mostly means you have to do good and when you do good you feel good, you feel a lot more better actually peaceful, recreation is not bad, you just want to make or do something good, for yourself or for others, again the best recreation is to do good, so when you do recreation you must do good and feel good.

What the quote is trying to point out that there are some people who like to do wrong and they agree to it but when it come's to doing the right, it doesn't seem to fit with them, there's a lot of agreeing or disagreeing with right or wrong, Even though you are for right or not for right, to me it kinda seems like a little debate. we all are for or not for, we make different choices, doing the right is always the good thing to you, be who you really are, don't change your choices for others.

The meaning of this quote is about thinking what you really want, focus on what matters most for you, for example what matters most to me is graduating and going to college and be successful and to reach my goals, that matters to me. it's important to focus on what matters to you not others just you. if you want to get your grades up and graduate then do that! if that matters to you, then do it! if your goals matter to you then i say go for it! achieve what you want in life. stck to what matters to you the most.

The meaning of this verse is talking about the good interest, the good things in you, people rather choose the good name instead of the bad name. they want someone who will do good and not do wrong. it think the great riches are the people who aren't good like its sounds like they have chosen the wrong, they aren't right. choosing the right will have a good name of you, a good side. :)

I think i would like to become a health educator because, the salary is good and i’d like to learn about health and helping others, educating to them and i think that it’s amazing to do that.

I think i would like to become a environmental health specialist because the job is really interesting, to find out the issue and to fix it and the job has a very good salary.
